Albuquerque Vacation

We went to Albuquerque in July, 1999.
Dave had one day's worth of work to do,
so at least HIS airfare was paid for by the company!
This is the first vacation we've had without kids for a long, long time.
It was great!

This is how you get
to the top of Sandia Peak.
It's the longest single-span
aerial tramway in the world.
Looking for UFOs.
(I'm kidding!)

Ain't it gorgeous? Albuquerque at sunset. Cheesy postcard.

Another cheesy postcard. We took a day-long train ride. One of the few remaining trains running on the narrow gauge tracks.

Sorry, their postcards came out better than my pictures.

This is the bridge in the movie "Natural Born Killers," where Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis "get married" and throw the veil over the side. Here's the bridge from the vantage point of people IN the Rio Grande. Wave to the nice folks!

Terry and Dave shoot the rapids!
